Disney Store pins......

Does anyone know if you can still trade pins from the Disneystore even though it isn't owned by Disney? DS bought a 3 pack Peter Pan trading pins for just 2.99 and a pin of Peter Pan flying over Neverland in which the city lights up. He wants to keep that one.

On the back of the pins it is engraved with Disney name and Disney Store?

Hi, just wanted to let you know that I tried trading DS pins at the airport Disney Store and they gave me a hard time saying that the Disney Stores are now owned by Children's Place. I had to convince them that it is okay, that I trade these pins all the time in the Parks. They were still unbelieving but traded with me any way. So basically, just giving you a heads up about the airport stores.
