Disney Store Interview

Hey There Guys and Gals,

I applied to be a seasonal cast member at the Disney Store here in Louisiana. I didn't think I would get a call back. However I just got the call to come to a group interview tomorrow, I am soooo excited and cannot wait. Any DS cast members that could offer some advice on the process or some hints would be appreciated.

I went for a group interview AND.......I GOT THE JOB on the spot. I was told I was hired and they would like me to stay for more than seasonal!!!!! I saw alot of people viewed my post so to everyone who offered but a bit of Pixie Dust, Thank you! and if you didnt BOOOOOOOOO! Kidding!

I too was offered a job after the group interview but I had accepted another position by then. Key to group interview. Don't be shy. Speak up and be yourself. If you can't smile and talk in front of a small group they will think you would be shy about welcoming guests into the store and helping. I remember them asking why you want to work for Disney. They don't call on you they just sit back and wait for you to answer. Don't talk over someone else but try not to be the last to answer either. In any group there are always a few people that stand out in a positive way. You want to be one of those people

The manager actually asked me... "Want to start today?"

Well I have been a Disney employee for 3 weeks and I have loved it. My name tag has been ordered and cannot wait to put that Name tag on my shirt. I know I am only seasonal but there is a good chance for me it grows to something more.

Congratulations!! I have always wanted to work at The Disney Store! I know I would love it I am there often and usually just browsing, but I catch myself looking around at the people and want to jump right in there and help them out with anything, I don't of course, that would be odd

I worked seasonal at the Disney Store when I was in High School. It was so much fun!
