Disney Store Deals

I just wanted to let everyone know that I went to the Disney Store lastnight and they were having an additional 50% off the lowest ticketed clearance prices. I didn't get much but I did walk away with the Incredibles snowglobe (regulary $78, I got it for $ 19.99). I also got 2 pairs of long sleeved pj pals for $3.99.

Just got back from the Disney Store this pm and bought a Buss Lightyear tent for DS...$12.50...regular $39.50. Both the kids are upstairs asleep in it now. No problem getting them to retire for the evening!

how long is the sale going on for? the closest disney store for me is the big World of Disney store on 5th avenue... id still have to hop on the subway to get there. But if i go during the week, its closer to my college so id go after class... but im worried the sale might be over after tomorrow!

i was SUPPOSED to go to 5th avenue this evening with a friend, and she bailed on me last minute

I went yesterday evening, and bought four shirts (matching for our disney trip), anincredibles snowglobe (My DM's X-mas present), and a buzz and woody doll two pack (Alex's b-day). All was on mark down clearence for an extra 50% off. Since I get my children's place discount at TDS, I bought a $118.00 snow globe for $13.99, a $40.00 toy for $6.99 and 4 $12.50 t-shirts for $2.80 a piece.

I could be wrong but I don't believe that World of Disney would have the same sales as the Disney Store.

World of Disney is still owed by Disney but the Disney stores are not. A week back I went to the World of Disney and they do not sell Disney Dollars like the Disney store....not sure how many more differences there are.

thanks for the info, jodistar. i think you may be right. they probably have the same prices as disneydirect.com. i'll probably wander over there tomorrow after my last class anyway just to see.

I went to the Disney Store yesterday and took advantage of the great sale! Not only was all of the clearance an additional 50% off but they were handing out coupons as you walked in for an extra 15% of your entire purchase. I bought beach towels for $8.50 (on sale for 9.99 plus 15%off), several items for a Disney secret pal exchange I just signed up for, and a couple of birthday presents for my daughter. They also had a bunch of the plush dolls that were $3.50 after all the discounts and some great deals on Buzz toys. Spent about $75 but came away with 3 large sacks of goodies.

I love a good bargain!!!

We do not have an end date for the promotion as of right now. It could change at any time. They could send us an email tonight and say "take down all the signs before you open tomorrow" or they could extend it. Typically our promotions on the clearance items are only 3-4 days long, but it can change depending on how much revenue it's bringing in. Usually very successful promotions we've had are extended a few days.

However, be aware that the World of Disney store and The Disney Store are not one and the same. They will not be running the same promotions as we're not owned by the same company. WOD belongs to The Disney Company...TDS is owned by The Children's Place.

Thanks for the info. I went today and started buying t-shirts and PJ's for our trip. We are not going until fall, but with 4 little girls, it is never to early to start planning. I also was able to get Buzz and Woody for a great price for a girlfriends son. You guys are the greatest. Thanks.
