Disney store cast member discount

does anyone know how much of a discount disney store cast members get now that they are no longer owned by childrens place? I know this may sound crazy but i am considering a job there solely for disney benefits!

Regular cast members get 20% and managers and those there over a year get 35%. All cm's get 10% on movies.

It doesn't sound crazy, but have you worked retail, or fast food, etc? If you don't need a job otherwise or can't stand being in a service industry I don't think you would probably find the benefits worth it.

Also, I read once here that a lot of sales pressure is put on employees. I, for one, am not sales-oriented but perhaps you are more able to do that than I.

I worked there years ago and the stuff you got was GREAT!! I'm not sure the benefits are as good as they used to be. There is a lot of sales pressure and you ARE a CM so you need to be in character at all times. It seems fun until you've dealt with some of the REAL enthusiastic people that come in. I've always been a Disney fanatic but I look like a novice when it comes to some people. It can be difficult! It was fun when i did it but I was also 23...now I just don't have that kind of patience for people. If you do get a job there, I hope you have fun
