Disney Store Burlington Mass Closing !

To All My Friends at the Burlington store,

My Heart go's out to you! To only be given less than 2 weeks notice that you store was closing just was not right!

And I ask anyone who reads this to let the Childrens Place and and Disney Store Guest services know how unhappy you are about the closing of this store by phone or E-Mail.I guess the only other question is which store is next?

Just to add to this the Lansing, MI - Lansing Mall Store Cast Members have told us that they are closing on March 9. Absoulutely bummed about this...

Rumor is 13 Stores will be closing as well as some Childrens place locations! Anybody else hear of any other stores. Childrens place screwed thing up more than Disney did!

This is sad. I helped move the old store from upstairs to the downstairs location, while working at the nashua store. Then I transferred to burlington, it was such a great store. It was never the same when I went in at the new location, across from Rainforest. It didn't feel like a disney store to me...I know it's now owned by TCP, but still.

TDS at Northgate Mall, Cincinnati, OH closed on MLK day in January.

To the other Cast at the closing stores. I know how much it hurts to close a store and my thoughts and prayers are with you. My store at West oaks is also closing on March 9. We were so shocked by the news because we had just gotten a new TV monitor and system installed. We thought wow they must be getting ready to remodel...go figure. We know it was not because of poor performance because we were doing well. I think it was the mall and current conditions (they are losing many stores). I believe at last count 13 stores were closing nation wide. I am not sure of that.

Just remember you did a wonderful job sharing the magic. And I have always said One door closes and another opens to new opportunities. Look back with pride and carry forward.

For those in the area, do come to West Oaks before the ninth...we do appreciate the support we have been getting so far

Isn't there still a Disney Store in Brandon Town Center? Perhaps they will soon lease a new store at international or in the future Cypress Creek mall?

Yes, the manager at TDS in Tampa said the Brandon one was still staying open.

the cyprus creek mall will be opening later this year if all goes well. I hope they have a disney store. I did hear that the children's place was closing stores because of poor earnings. I also read awhile back that if the children's place didn't live up to their contractual agreement with disney, that disney was considering taking back the stores. In the tampa situation, things aren't that bad because we have other stores in town, plus tampa is only about an hour and half from DTD.

The Disney Store in the CT Post, uh sorry, Westfield Shopping Town Milford, is also closing. Have to go to Trumbull or Meriden for my fix

I never like the look of the Burlington store (not since it moved from over by the Discovery Channel store), but every time I went in the mall, I stopped in there, and there was a good chance that I would make a purchase too.
Now, the nearest store that I know of is in Nashua, and that is just not convenient.

i loved the burlington mall disney store!!! I grew up in Saugus but would rather go to the burlington disney store anyday... i always thought it was alittle better. Sad!! I can't believe they didn't give you guys enough notice! I hope everything works out for all of you!

justcantwait, do you know when the Disney Store at the Post mall will be closing. That is the mall i usually go to most of the time, I guess I will be going to Meriden more often for my Disney fix. I just hope that when Disney takes back control that they don't close the Meriden store too.

Heh...I grew up in Saugus too...all we had was the New England Shopping Center (I even worked at a couple places there)...had to go to Danvers or Burlington if you wanted an actual mall...

Now Saugus has a mall, and all the old malls are rebuilt to be even bigger...

I'm closer to Nashua now, so I can still hit a Disney Store if I want...and tax free to boot...
