Has anyone else noticed that the Disney "STORE" is back online? I saw the new studio line and new it was the same one in the store so I called my local store to ask them about it. They will have the same merchandise again - and although I haven't confirmed it yet - I'm betting that the stores will take returns again. There will still be a disneyshopping and I believe all the changes are expected to happen over the next year - but for now the Disney STORE is back online. Oh and I got there going through a link in an email, but you'll see, just go to disneyshopping.com and then go to disneystore.com.

I got the same e-mail. The manager in the store told me about it last week. She said people were getting confused about them not being related, so they were going on-line again. They were using that wishes granted daily site to build up an e-mail database. She said it's going to become more boutique-like. Also, one of them is getting rid of their toy line - I think it might be the store site & only the shopping site will carry them - can't remember exactly. Somehow, both sites were still set to exist, although I don't understand how that would make it any less confusing to people unless they're operating as one site.

Well, now I'm really confused. Can you combine purchases from both sites for $75 free shipping? I may need to place an order, so can undertand this better:) .

I just redeemed my disney movie reward points for a gift card, I wonder if the code is good for both sites or not? :confused3

Oh, boy - I am in  ! The OP mentioned that the same items are in the store. Does this include all of the adult clothes? My store typically doesn't have many adult clothes. I'd rather buy in the store to save on shipping, but if those things aren't available, I'll have to order online.

Adult clothes are back at your local TDS. Not all of the clothes listed online are in at my local TDS yet, but I have been told that they are coming soon! Maggie

I checked it out. Didn't care for the clothes, but what's the deal with showing all the shirts wrinkled? That's just weird! :confused3 Did anyone else notice this? It's like their trying to be hip or something, but it just makes it hard to tell what the shirt looks like!

If you zoom you may find that they aren't "wrinkled" but that they have like a charcoal drawing behind the colored print. The studio line is to celebrate the years of animation and have sketches behind the main design. I do believe you can order from both sites to get the shipping free for over $75 combined. The denim skirtalls are to die for - and in store they have a women's denim jacket in the studio line I didn't see yet online. The new stuff should be out in your local stores probably this Sunday - or Monday. I can't remember for sure if the floor move is Saturday night/Sunday Morning or Sunday Night/Monday morning. I am thrilled because I can "shop" online but then go in the store to make my purchases. I don't work very often so there are times that lines have been out a month or more and I haven't seen them yet. I think it should be interesting for a while though as they iron out the wrinkles....I think ultimately they will carry different items....like disney"shopping" will carry the furniture and bigger stuff and disney"store" will carry apparel, etc. But only time will tell for sure.

OK, maybe wrinkled isn't the right word - perhaps it's crumpled! And it is all the clothes! Imagine that someone has a job to lay out the clothes and "crumple" them just right for photographing! Seems very strange to me, but I'm over it. :lmao:

Here's a pair of the shorts:

...snip...

LOL! I know it's not what you meant, but maybe someone will iron out the wrinkles in the clothes displayed for sale online! :lmao:

OK, sorry for going OT - back to the real topic.

Okay - I see what you mean now :rotfl: I didn't look at much but the studio line in little girls and didn't notice that at all - but I did notice the studio designs looked "funny" online - I just knew what they looked like because I had already seen them. I don't care for that either - it doesn't make me want to hurry up and buy them displayed like that.

I looked at the "Adult" clothes...

My credit card was safe. Nothing even tempted me. (I am in my mid 40's, I don't want to dress like a 12 year old!!!) Plus everything looked pretty shoddy to me.

And can they not afford someone to take decent photos? The women's graphic t photos show the t shirts so "wrinkled" that it's hard to figure out what the graphic is without enlarging each of them DUH???? I didn't see the "art touch" another poster claims is there, I just saw terrible design and presentation.

So based on this, I don't need to go out of my way to see this stuff in a store either! (I keep hearing about the return of "Adult" clothing, but ..... IMHO perhaps a store with buyers aimed at KIDS is clueless about "adult" Adult is not just "larger" size kids clothes!!!!)

I love the Disney Studio collection and I am 47. Since I teach kindergarten I sometimes wear the Studio shirts to work on Fridays. The kids love it. They especially love it when they own a matching shirt. I think I have sent our local DS a lot of business :)! However, I am so upset that the jeans only go up to size 12. I haven't been a size 12 since college. Come on Disney Store we need larger sizes. By the way I bought the XL in the minnie jean skort in the brick and mortar Disney store and it fits great. I would love larger sizes in the jeans.
