My daughter and I want to make a visual diary of our trip this year in December. I was wondering if anyone has any tips on where we might be able to get stickers and or little things we could stick into a scrap book like serviettes, coasters etc. Any tips would be greatly appreciated.

Disney has really gone downhill in terms of ephemera...not even sure you can get a paper ticket anymore, which always had a prominent place in our scrapbooks of yore. Everything is generic (as in plain brown napkins) or online (as in menus). I have old paper menus from some of the classic WDW places but they are from 25 years ago. And when scrapbooking was a thing back in the day, they had lots of things like special papers, stickers, even whole kits you could buy. But those days are long gone. Even the craft stores like Joann and Hobby Lobby offer very little, as now everyone makes their own with a Cricut.

They used to give out the drivers license at Autopia but last time there, I saw there was some kind of machine near there so maybe you have to pay now.

Maybe the Tiki place has coasters still...I dont drink so I cant speak about the bars.
Those would be the only places I would think of with signature items like that.

Good luck on your search!

ADDED: I myself have just gone to an Aura digital frame that I have strictly for my Disney trips, as my hubby, tolerant as he is, doesnt want to look at my pictureswith Cap, Loki, Thor, etc. 😁

But I am thankful that i have my old scrapbooks of when my son was young and I faithfully documented all our trips !

Thanks for your thoughts. Yes I now use "Pages" on my Apple Mac to record all my trips putting in photos and writing a detailed diary when I get home but I still like to have a hard copy diary with me so that I can record things that happen on a day to day basis. My adult daughter keeps an art journal so she adds drawings and watercolour paintings of things that happen to her throughout the year. She is going to do one specifically for this trip. She likes to add stickers/tickets and things she encounters along the way as well as her artwork but it looks like we might be hard pressed to find those things on this trip. Oh well maybe we will find some brochures on our travels that we can cut out images from and use. Thanks again.

You'll also find cute postcards at any of the gift shops on Harbor...pleased don't be afraid to venture out if you are staying onsite. The Walgreens and CVS at harbor and Katella have lots of trinkets, as well as the Korean mart right next toCandy Cane (one of my favorites).

Love that she journals! Its such a shame because Disney used to have whole shops or sections of stores dedicated to paper...notecards, stationery, journals. My heart just about stopped when I actually found an Avengers journal last trip...needlessto say, its just about filled up now and I'll be getting a new one at Christmas!

Back in the day, I used to cut up the Birnbaums Travel Guide for the pictures, as they were the only one who could use authorized photos of the parks. Ah, memories...

Oh thanks for the ideas. We have two non park days where we intend to just laze around the resort (staying at the villas in the Disneyland Hotel) and my two adult kids can recharge their batteries and rest their legs. I will have an ECV so I could go for a spin to the Korean Mart, that sounds like fun. We went to Hong Kong Disneyland and I feel like the Asians love their stickers and little quirky gifts. All the cast members there had some sort of bag they carried around with them and if you asked politely they would give you all sorts of different stickers. It was so much fun collecting them.

We like the Lamplight coasters too. The driver of the Fire Engine on Main Street used to hand out stickers. The park maps are wonderful souvenirs- if you get two of each, you’d be able to see both sides at once even if you attach them in a book. The DLH might have notepaper or other paper items. If not in the villa rooms (I’ve never been there), you could ask at the front desk. Even a paper receipt from a special meal can be a fun souvenir for the memory (unless you’d rather forget how much the meal was)! 🤩
The fortune teller machines used to give out little pieces of paper with fortunes. Would pressed pennies be too thick?

Thanks for the tips. Pressed pennies are a little thick to go in the diaries but we collect them too and have one of the special little binders to keep them in. Love pressed pennies, they are the best and cheapest souvenir.

Oga’s has cool coasters too!

And in April Jungle Cruise had themed ziplocks that could be cool to include (it was closed when I was there in Sept- so not sure if they still have them).

Oga's has cute coasters, and if you stay in the resort hotel they have coasters too.

When we went to the Rapunzel show they threw adorable little paper suns into the audience at the end. I keep them in my wallet and they make me smile every time I see them :)

I've actually used receipts in scrapbooks before and it's fun to look back on trips and remember what I bought or ate.

If I put receipts in I might have a heart attack when I look back on how much money I spent. :rotfl2:

I love the live theatre shows in Fantasyland. Last time we were there just after Covid we missed the Rapunzel show, we only saw Beauty & The Beast, so this time we are making it a priority to see. Hopefully we can get some glitter, that would be good in our books.

WDWinfo just had an article about the Photo Booths still on property and I plan to search for them tomorrow.
I know where the AK Dinoland Photo Booth is located but not sure about the other 2 locations

Are you going to search at DLR? Other than the Autopia driver's license, I don't believe DLR has photo booths in the parks.
Thanks for the hint… Tomorrowland Speedway at the MK (easy to walk right past the booth )… …and the others are at AK inside Dinoland ..
And somewhere in EPCOT …

Sometimes they will give out Mickey Mouse stickers at Mater's Junkyard Jamboree.
