Disney Springs this December

I'm going to Disney World next month!

I've never been to Disney Springs before, and I plan on going around 6:30 after a day in AK.
What would be the most efficient route to get there? We want to do dinner then look around!

I'm curious as to what everybody likes to do in Disney Springs? Like recommended stores, places, etc
I only get a few hours to spend there- what should I do there?

I'm staying at All Star Movies! I'll have a car but I'm currently planning on using the bus system. I don't know if I should go to another resort from AK that's closer to Disney Springs and then transfer to Disney Springs?

When you leave AK take the bus to Port Orleans and then take the boat from there to Disney Springs OR
Take the bus to Old Key West get off at the main building and take the boat from there OR
Take a bus to Saratoga, get off at the Congress Park stop and walk over OR
take the bus to AKL and transfer to Disney Springs bus.

Heck with being at AK the All Stars aren't that far away, you could always head back to your room, drop stuff off and catch the bus there.

Bring your camera, The area will be decorated for the Holidays. Ghiradelli's <sp> will be giving out samples of their peppermint bark, Santa will be there, this is usually some type of entertainment going on near the lake. ADR's are recommended if you are planning to eat there.
