Disney Springs questions

Make sure you check the bus schedule. I think that buses don't go from the resorts to Disney Springs until 4 pm. I think that they do go from the parks though, so you could go to a park and then from there to DS. We never have a car and I hate to spend the money on a taxi but we have some things we want to do there on our next trips so I'm going to be checking out the most efficient way from the resort(s).

Also note that the balloon won't be active if the winds are high. A couple of times when we were there in December and February, it was closed due to winds.

Buses at WL in February only went to DS after 4 pm; same was true for BC in December. It was a bit inconvenient for us because we had wanted to do some early afternoon shopping there. Fortunately, our friends came to visit and they had a car so they took us out there. I'm sure it was never the case on previous visits.

Have you not read the posts above?? One poster is suggesting (not in so many words) that the OP should use google instead of asking here. Its quite clear what the message was. Thats where the comment came from.

Sorry you've had trouble getting a bus from your resort to DS. It's our usual activity on check-out day and never had a problem. I don't know how early the buses start running, but definitely by 10am or so. Resort to DS and return should run all day. Parks to DS doesn't begin until after 4pm.

wow, ok, just came back to this thread. Just to clarify, it is easier and faster to use Google to look for info of this nature, I didn't know you were having problems with your phone. A lot of people actually never think of using Google for this, some don't know how to use it so I do offer the option of using Google as a friendly tool, heck I use it like 10 times a day for different things

this is very strange and I am surprised it didn't come up on these threads back then. Buses start going to DS deom all resort hotels at 10am and run until late in the evening, not sure what happened when you went.
Buses from the theme parks to DS start operating at 4pm, and there is not a trip from DS back to the theme parks

Lots of people use it. Not only google but any search engine can lead you on your way to finding the info you need much quicker than you will find on a discussion forum many times.

The boards also have their own search feature that could help you find the info you are looking for.

Yes they do go from parks to Disney Springs just not from Disney Springs to the parks.

I was quite surprised when we got to the bus stop at the resort(s) and the monitor stated "buses start at 4 pm" for the Disney Springs bus arrival time. I was absolutely sure we'd taken them much earlier in previous years and assumed this was a new thing. Fingers crossed that this was a short-term anomaly because we're going back this weekend and I'd like to do some early afternoon shopping.

Totally random question but is the fridge magnet shop still at DS? I went many years ago when it was Downtown Disney and absolutely loved the shop and am going this December.
