Disney Springs Parking Question

Okay, I am looking at the map of Disney Springs. When it was DTD you could park near the Marketplace but I am not seeing parking there now. Do we HAVE to park on the other side? I see there is a "Orange Lot" where I am guessing most of the parking is. Since everything we want to see is in the Marketplace I'd prefer to park over there if possible.

The large parking garage is indeed Orange and is pretty close to the middle of the complex. Because of construction, that is where we were funneled when we got there a couple of months ago. You can also park on the surface lots by the Westside.

We usually park on the Westside and take the boat ride to the Marketplace end. It's not a very long walk from the Orange garage to the Marketplace.

I read they are building a second parking garage closer to the marketplace, but not sure when it will be open.

The Disney bus stops are still at the Marketplace end if you come from a resort.

With the parking lot is there plenty of parking now?

How far would you say the walk is from the middle to marketplace?

Not sure of the distance but if your remember where pleasure island was the parking garage is on the far side from the marketplace, in front of the AMC theater. Driving there can be a challenge with the construction, if you are staying on property taking a bus which drops you at the marketplace may be your best bet

I think its about a 10-15 minute walk from your car depending on where in the Marketplace you are going.

We have parked in the original garage and used the taxi. Is the second garage open yet? That one seems closer to Marketplace
