Disney site shows Blizzard Beach is closed from 10/23 to 12/24...is this for sure?

I just look at Disney site and it has Blizzard Beach Water park is closed from 10/23 - 12/24.

My son was planning to go to both water parks in November and I was trying to convince him to go only one so if Blizzard Beach Water Park is closed in November, I don't have to convince him anymore!

Does anyone know why it's closed? For refurbishing?

Every winter, slow water park time, they close one for refurb, then they open it up and close the other for refurb.
