Hello, first time Disney cruiser. Numerous Park trips though. We are staying at CBR prior to the cruise and wondering is there a shuttle that goes to all the resorts on cruise out days out of Port Canaveral. That we pay a shuttle service for, or do you have to just use an out sourced company. We have used Away we go, for the last couple Park trips. Never done a cruise before. Thanks

Disney offers bus transportation for an additional fee to your cruise booking. I believe it's currently $50/person each way.

You can add it onto your cruise reservation (or if you went through an agency/travel agent, you can contact them to book it for you).

That is great to know, will reach out to our TA. Thank you

Actually still $45/person each way, although subject to change when the transportation contract is renewed. The prices for the resort bus to/from the port and for the MCO bus to/from the port are the same. Resort buses to the port will usually stop at up to four resorts before heading to the port, depending on the number of passengers at each location. Checked luggage can be left in your resort room for bell services to pick up for transport to the ship. Luggage pick up usually starts about 7 am with bus check in starting around 8:30. We have received an email the day prior detailing luggage pick up and bus check in specifics.

With two of us we enjoyed taking Disney transportation to Port Canaveral. The car services were all way more expensive when we priced them out RT (we did one more night back at property after the cruise). It wasn't a hassle either, a cruise line CM met us in the lobby of GF early in the morning and checked us in (there were maybe 3 other families besides us). We had one more stop at the Poly to pick up a bunch of people and then we were off to the port. We liked not having to deal with our checked bags at all once Bell Services got them at the GF, it reminded me of the good ol Magical Express days.

One huge benefit to taking Disney transportation there as first timers without Castaway status is you are basically guaranteed a much earlier port arrival time than you would if you were arriving on your own. It's nice getting on the ship earlier to get your name on the list for sold out dining and activities you couldn't book as a first timer because people with status booked it all up before your window opened.

Yes there is. You can add it to your cruise reservation, and a bus will pick you up at CBR the morning of.
