Disney should install these

At my local Six Flags Great Adventure today and notice that they have installed these chair backs on their bleacher seats. It makes the seats so much more comfortable. I think these would be a great addition to the bleacher seats at shows like beauty and the beast, Fantasmic, and the Indiana Stunt Show. image.jpgimage.jpg

Disney isn't interested in comfort, they want to wedge in as many guests as possible.
they could at least push them right up next to each other and cram a couple more in every row :-). They do look like they would make Fantasmic so much better.

Agreed. There are many people who would not comfortably fit in those seats, and many families who could easily fit more people in those spaces.

Bring your own to Fantasmic. We bring stadium seats.

I really makes me wonder why Six Flags spent the extra money to install them.

Would be nice but don'e see it happening soon.

Edit: I've also wondered why Disney chose to put special design backs on the bleachers in the theater for "Tarzan Rocks" (now used for "Finding Nemo the Musical") and not used that design anywhere else.

;)

well, Beauty and the Beast have them (or well, wait....the places where I sit have them, I like being close).....still doesn't help much for your fantasmic idea.....but if there was a family trying to squeeze, they would be MORE uncomfortable then.....

but I wouldn't mind if they put the Beauty and the Beast backs on all the bleacher seats!

for Tarzan Rocks! I never paid attention to the bleachers either, cuz I always sat in the same place on the wooden benches left side of the catwalk, 3 rows up......man, I miss that show....

I can see it now if Disney installed those types of seats at all bleacher type attractions. Mom and Dad and their three kids show up 30 seconds before the show is about to start. They now have to search for five seats all together because they didn't want to have to "wait in a line". How to do that with those types seats? They'd take ten minutes walking around the theatre, while the show was on, looking for seats and having to split up and the kids deciding which parent to go with and then getting lousy seats in the middle of a row so they have to climb over people to get to the seats. All this while the show is going on.

With the bleacher seats and no backs, it's easy for the Cast Members to just tell people to slide all the way in.

Also, with the seat backs, that makes it more dangerous for those people who, at the end of the show, don't want to exit to an aisle but want to climb to the top or to the bottom to exit quicker.

Lots of reasons for Disney to not put these everywhere.

The way Great Adventure is these days, it's probably to try to deflect stray bullets.

Kidding. Sort of.

I don't think seatbacks are a priority for Disney now or will be going forward as evidenced by the new Harambe Theatre.:)
