Hi Everyone,

Okay, so I'm going to try to explain this- forgive me if it doesn't make much sense ;)

When we were at WDW a few years ago, DH picked up a few Disney shirts he really liked. They weren't BLATANT Disney shirts- no huge screen prints of Mickey or anything like that. One had kinda a set of tribal lines going across the chest and Mickey head was set in the middle of it (in the same tribal style) and another was something to do with the year of the dragon and Mickey, but I cannot recall what it looked like (baaad me).

Anyways- is there any place online that I can order some Disney shirts for my Hubby that aren't over the top, screen prints? He likes to show his love of WDW, but he's not really into full pictures of Mickey on his clothes.

Hope my descriptions made sense. I tried the Disneyshopping.com, but the shirts weren't what I was looking for. I have my Mom looking at DisneyLand as we speak (she's there with my little sis)- but I figured I'd ask here too- ya'll always know so much!

Did you check out the design your own t-shirt/golf shirt option on disneyshopping.com? Some of those are nice. Also, if you live near a Disney Store, right now they have some Tiki print golf/Hawaiian type shirts that aren't screaming Disney, but do have a Disney theme. Good luck.

My DH likes the golf type shirts with the small patch picture (mickey, gumpy, whoever) just up on the left hand corner of the shirt (like where the izod alligator goes). He has gotten them at the Disney outlet store and also the Disney Store.

And he only gets character t-shirts with night before Christmas or Bruce from Nemo. Stuff like that. He doesn't like them with mickey, etc. on them. He got those at the Disney Store too and/or the parks/outlets too.

I kwym! My DH is exactly the same way. We have some from a few trips ago that he likes but they are definitly showing wear, He will still use them when we go to the pool with his bathing suit.

I have had no luck at Disney store finding anything understated at all. The parks are the only places I have really seen what he is looking for or likes.

so I guess I would definitly get on the phone with your Mom and have her pick up some while at Disneyland!

some of the resort logo shirts ar nice tho and I think you can call resort and order them?? anyone?

or just pack nice and light for DH and have a fun time supplementing the wardrobe while you are there!

For our trip last January I found the entire family Mickey polo's on Disneyshopping.com. They were less that $10 each and we saw very similar ones in the parks for MUCH more! (mesh golf shirt with embroidered outline of Mickey on left chest - similar to Polo horse)

I noticed this year they have a "Create your own polo" for $16.50. Still a good bargain. Go to mousesavers.com to see if there is a coupon code for free shipping or additional % off to use at checkout.

Very understated and the family looked cute in pictures. (I let everyone pick their color.)

My husband still wears his to work with khakis!:thumbsup2
