Disney Shareholder's Meeting scheduled for Oakland

The Walt Disney Co. has announced that the 2009 meeting of shareholders is scheduled for March 10, 2009 at the Paramount Theatre in Oakland, California.

Has anyone been to a shareholder's meeting before?

A while back I heard that they used to give away single day tickets to the parks for those in attendance. Any truth to this?

Also, I have heard that they often have characters there. With this being the case, are shareholders able to bring their children?

When the shareholder meetings alternated between Disneyland and WDW, shareholders were given free one day tickets to the parks. Since they rarely have the meetings at either location anymore, they're no longer provided. As a shareholder, you're allowed to bring one guest with you to the meeting - don't know if that would include children.
