OK, I give up. I used the search feature, but could not find the thread, and I'm sure it was brought up at some point. Tokyo Disney Sea, I just watched a special on the travel channel, and from what I saw, it looks like it would be a grand addition to WDW as a 5th gate. Has anyone been there, and what do you think about adding it to WDW, good idea? And for those who have only read about it and saw the travel channel show, what do you think? This is not a thread saying it is a rumor, just wondering what folks thoughts are regarding it's addition.

It would make a great 5th gate/park! The problem is Disney Seas cost mega $$$$$$$$$$$$$. I think the Oriental Land Company paid for most of it so the rides are top of the line. It would be a shame if it was just a poor copy. WDW needs to spend some money in the parks they already have.

I've heard the rumors too, and I think it would be a great idea. Also another idea would be to make it an addition to Animal Kingdom since it really hasn't taken off on its own yet. Maybe the addition of the "Aquatic Land" with perhaps a dolphin swim experience sort of like Discovery Cove would be a big draw for the step child park.

well there is slim to no chance that Disney would be willing to shell out the $$ that it would take. The Oriental Land Company paid for ALL of Tokyo Disney Sea-that's the reason it looks so great and we get California Adventures and Disney Studios Paris
