Disney scooters and late hores

If we rent a scooter from Disney and stay for either extended deluxe evening hours and the late Halloween party can we still turn the scooter in after we are done. I am not sure if you have to turn the scooter back in at 9 pm for Epcot or 7 at Mk for when the park closes for day guest at Mk.
