Hello!

I hope to be spending more time on these boards within the next year or so. We have set a time frame for our first Disney trip with the kids for spring of '08. At that time, we will have a 2 1/2 year old and an 18 month old.

Everyone is telling us to wait because "the kids won't remember it", "it's going to be to difficult", blah, blah, blah. But, Disney was put on hold for 10 years while we were dealing with infertility treatments and now that we are very blessed to have two children whom we adopted at birth - I'm ready for DISNEY!!!

So, what rides will they be able to ride at that age? And what other tips do you all have for making a Disney trip with two toddlers easy and fun?

Thanks and I'm so glad to be here!

I went 2 years ago with an 18 month old and almost 3 year old. Although they wont remember it you will have awsome memories. Be sure to take lots of pictures. That helps the kids to remember.

As for rides we loved
Pooh
Peter pan
Its a small world
Bear Jamboree
Imagination
Play House Disney
Safari
DD loved every parade but hated seeing the characters up close.
Just to name a few

I will admit that sometimes dh had to take the little one out of some shows because she wouldnt sit still but I stayed in with the older one

We also went back to the resort every afternoon for a break

Thanks for the reply!

I also have another question. We have an opportunity to either go in October 2007 (ages 25 months and 12 months) or March 2008 (ages 2 1/2 years and 18 months).

I'm itching to go ASAP, but I'm wondering if we should hold off until the March trip?

Ahhh! Major decisions already! But, I'm so excited. I feel like a kid again. :rotfl2:

We just got back with a 17 month old. I really think she would have been a LOT easier to deal with as a 12 month old. Right now she wants to walk walk walk (which is not practical in line or at a show) and is smack dab in the middle of toddleritis. At 12 months she was much more agreeable.

We still had a really fun week but dealing with her was draining. We decided for *our* family that three is a much better age at WDW.

:) Michele
