Disney Ride Figurines

A couple of years ago I remember reading some information about Walt Disney World ride figurines. I remember that they opened and there was a small figurine inside of them, ie one of the characters in the ride car.

The ones that I remember seeing were the Tower or Terror and Earful Tower. I know there were more, but those are the only two that come to mind.

Does anyone know what I am talking about and where I might find more information about these and where I might be able to purchase them?

No, these were actually ceramic looking buildings.

The one I remember the most is Tower of Terror. The outside was -- the Tower or Terror. It had a hinge and when you opened it up it was decorated as if you were in the ToT, including the elevator shaft. Then, there was a little removeable piece, a little bigger than a quarter that was like the elevator "seats" with Michey mouse or someone sitting there. The piece was very similar to the die cast things, but like I said, much smaller and made out of a different material.

No, I've never seen those but would love to get TOT for DS! I guess ebay would be the place

Most of these have been discontinued, I think the Tower of Terror one might still be hanging around but since I haven't been to WDW since June 2001, I don't know.

These are usually called attraction miniatures or hinged boxes. They're made out of resin. They were available at both DL and WDW, although they were a few bucks cheaper at DL ($18 vs $20) the Earful Tower was less ($12?).

Both coasts: It's a Small World, Splash Mountain

I have all of them except the WDW Haunted Mansion, I can't find one for anything. The DL shows up on ebay, but I've never seen the WDW version.
