Disney Rewards Visa question

Okay, after looking into the Disney Visa I noticed that it says 0% on balance transfers for 6 months. I noticed on the application info that it states nothing about the billing cycle except that balance transfers are 0% for 6 billing cycles. I believe I read somewhere that this new card has a two-cycle billing (YUCK!--definitely never carry a balance on this card!). If that were the case then wouldn't the 0% rate only be good for 3 months? Is this right? Anyone who has already received their card-- is it a two-cycle billing?

Needless to say, I didn't transfer a balance and I will not be carrying a balance on this card ever!

In the card member agreement it states that "we will send a statement at the end of each monthly billing cycle." It also talks about "monthly statement" in other sections of the agreement. I have never read anything about two cycle billing.

Yea! That makes me feel better! I do not like cards with 2 cycle billing!

Thanks!

I just looked at the Disney Visa web site and under terms and conditions the following is listed

Method of computing the balance for purchases

Two-cycle average daily balance method (including new purchases).

Hope this helps

It does indeed have two-cycle interest, another strike against the card.

loveswdw - if you pay the balance off before six months, you would not pay any interest. If you didn't, I would assume that the interest you would be charged at the end of month seven would indeed be based on the two-cycle method (ie, the average daily balance from months six and seven)
