Disney Rewards Question

I have the disney rewards visa and have enough points to get the rewards card. How does that work? It takes about 3 weeks to get the rewards card, I think But do you just go on there to transfer points to it or do you have to wait for every time you have 20 rewards to transfer? Do they transfer it to the same card or send a new one each time? How long does it take to transfer the points to the card once you receive it?

You need 20 rewards dollars to request your first rewards card. After that, you can transfer additional rewards dollars to your card by either calling the number on the card or by doing it online.

You must have at least 10 rewards dollars to transfer your rewards dollars but you can transfer any amount over that. You can have the rewards sent to the card you already have or you can request one additional card. The transferred rewards dollars are available immediately for your use.

My card has an expiration date so I just call and do the transfer over the phone if it's active. Once the date is reached, I call for a new card giving myself a month prior to the trip to receive the actual card and then I call a week prior to the actual trip to load all the $$ accumulated. It's a wonderful perk for those of us who go to WDW regularly. We usually eat and play the first 3 days off the rewards
