Disney Rewards Points

Just have a quick question for anyone who uses a Disney Visa and Disney Rewards card? Hoping for another trip Summer 2015, or Summer 2016.. Have a good portion of Disney Rewards built up but some expire this year, wondering if I can put them on a disney Rewards card, how long before that rewards card "expires?"

I just received a Rewards Card in the mail yesterday. It has an expiration date of 12/2015. Some of my points are expiring in my account so I am moving them to this card so it will extend their expiration date. Hope this helps.

You can transfer them to a rewards card and then use the rewards card to buy a gift card so you won't have to worry about an expiration date at all!

Yes it would be best to move the money to rewards card and then call to have the money moved to a gift card.

This is what I do too.

Just go to the Disney site and order a gift card. At checkout you can put in your rewards card number. You will also have to put in a credit card number, but will only be billed whatever the difference is, if the amount on your rewards card is less than the order balance.

I am not sure if they do it at the store, I bought mine online at disneygiftcard.com (I like this better than the Disney store site because there are a lot of card designs )

I did mine over the phone and they mailed the gift card to me. That way, I was able to put the exact amount on that gift card. Didn't have to buy in $25 increments, etc.
