Disney Rewards Points???

can somebody explain to me how these work? DH has them with his Chase Visa, but we have never redemmed them and are possibly thinking of taking a trip this summer...I am just curious how they work...don't have any idea...thanks in advance

We just redeemed ours. You go to the chase website, order a disney rewards card (free). After you have it in your cart you put in how many disney rewards dollars you want on the card. You can have it shipped free or pay $10 for 3 day shipping. (We had less time to get the card, so paid the $10 and it was really 2.5 business days.) Then you can use the card for all things disney. I bought our tickets from the disney website and used our disney dollars. I had to pay a tad more with my credit card.

You can also get an empty card from City Hall on Main Street. Then you call Chase and they will transfer your Rewards to the card. Only takes a couple of minutes. Just did it last weekend during a last minute trip when I didn't have time to order a card from Chase.

You can use your Reward dollars for just about any purchase at Disney. If they take a credit card they will take your Reward card. So you can't use it at the snack carts but you can use it at counter and table service resaurants, in the shops, for park tickets, or even hotel charges if staying onsite. You cannot use your Rewards card in Downtown Disney though, except at Marceline's Candy Shop.

You can also do the redemption process over the phone using the customer service number on the back of your Chase card.
