Disney Rewards Photo Pickup Question

I have two questions regarding picking up the photos taken for the Disney Visa Rewards.

1. What is the usual turn around time for photos to show up for pickup? If I wait till 4 to take the picture, for example, should I have the photo by 630?

2. Does the photo have to picked up the same day? I am thinking of "hopping" and being in Epcot Tuesday afternoon and the returning Friday morning.

I cant remember the time turn around, they usually give ya a card with a time. I do believe you have to get it before the end of the day.

They say to wait about an hour before going over to select your photo.

You are supposed to get the picture the same day.


You can get one free photo per day, so if you're staying longer on Friday you could get one then as well.

I think it depends on how busy they are, but we went directly to the pick up, and they were able to pull it up very quick.

I've never used the cc perk, but may over Christmas when we're there. Is there a specific location in EPCoT for the character/family shoot?

The past few years it has been in Innoventions (West?-- the one with the fire truck and segways) from 1-4:30 every day.

You wait in line and then each family is taken into a room individually to meet the characters. They will not tell you which characters you will be meeting, but we have always had either 2 or 3 in various combinations of Mickey, Minnie, Goofy, and Pluto.

My kids are shy to meet the characters out in the parks, so it's nice that this is private. As soon as they enter the room, they run over and start hugging.


They put all the photos onto a photopass card and give you a voucher for the free photo. At the photo center you select your favorite photo and border and they print it for you.
