how long does it take to get a Disney Rewards card in the mail? i have 1 month until my trip. Should i just wait and get the card at MK and transfer my rewards then?

I don't know the answer to your question, but I am planning on getting mine while I am there and transfer then. It will be like "free" money...lol

They are generally shipped to arrive in approximately 10 business days. You can pay for quicker shipping, but that is the free standard shipping.

I ordered mine and had them arrive in about 10 days. You have time before your trip.

I actually split my rewards and put some on two different cards, so I could give the card with the smaller amount to DD as a spending card.

I figured getting the rewards card ahead of time was one less thing I'd have to do at the parks.

thanks all- i ordered my card today
one less thing to do when i get there- that will be nice.
besides, i dont think i willearn any more disney dollars before my trip anyway

Hi! I'm new to the Disney Rewards Visa. So excited! Can someone explain the Magic Kingdom part? Can we get our rewards issued while we're down there? Thanks!

I think the Magic Kingdom part was referring to guest services in Magic Kingdom. If you'll refer to the thread that I've posted, you'll see that while some people do order their cards in advance, others wait and get them at guest services (located either Downtown Disney or Magic Kingdom).

I still say that if you have time before your trip, go ahead and order the card ahead of time.

Hope this clears up some of your questions.

Thank you!! That did help a lot! I gotta go rack up some points now.... :woohoo:

We stopped at guest services in MK & got ours. It only took a few minutes.

If you do earn more points prior to your trip and already ordered your card, all you have to do is call the tollfree number on your Visa card (customer service) and they can transfer them to your reward card over the phone. I did it while walking around Epcot.

Enjoy!
