disney rewards card?

Yes, every counter service location inside DL or DCA will accept your Rewards card.

I just got my first Disney Rewards card a few weeks ago and we go to WDW in a week, then DL in October. How can or do we benefit from using the card?

Do you mean Disney Rewards VISA or the actual rewards card that you transfered points to?

Here is the Disney Rewards website to show what discounts you can take advantage of at WDW and DL. I think DL actually has more discounts than WDW.

If you have your points, you can use them to purchase anything within the parks and at the World of Disney store.

We run most of our household utilities, etc through ours and just make one payment per month. As a result we have a nice $900 on a Disney reward card to spend on food and souveniers for our trip to DL. We did the same thing last year for WDW. If my husband could figure out a way to purchase a car through the Disney Visa he would and then he would brag about how many points he earned.

Thank You! I was referring to the rewards card that you redeem. I'm hoping to be able to pay for all food with our rewards! YAY

Just got mine in the mail too. The rep said when I called and ordered it said when you go, you can go to the Disney Rewards booth at Downtown Disney, and if you have any points credited to your account, they can load them there.

Not sure how DL works, but at WDW, we used the reward cards at vendor stands too. As long as it was Disney, they pretty much took it. At Downtown Disney it was hit or miss.

I already have the Disney Visa.

Where can I get the Redemption card? We're gonna be in DLR May 16, so I don't know if I can get it through the mail before that.

You can call Disney Visa and request one - I think they tell you it will be there in 2 weeks or something, but I have always gotten mine sooner, I think. I believe there is also an option to expedite the shipping.

Or probably the best option in your case, just go to Guest Services when you arrive at the park, they will give you a rewards card and you just call Disney Visa and request them to transfer the points to your card. We did that once and didn't have any trouble using the rewards card right away. :thumbsup2
