Disney Rewards Card - Info needed

I need advice from all of you with more info than me

We are leaving for an unplanded trip this Sunday, and I just checked my Rewards Card, and it is expired (Not the actual credit card, but the rewards points card) It didn't have any points left on it, so I didn't really think about it. We have 200 pts that we can transfer, and I would like to use them toward our DVC AP's.

I know that I don't have time to get a card in the mail. I have heard that the guest services in Downtown Disney can issue a rewards card, has anyone done this? Is there a "waiting period" before you can use points card? We are staying offsite for the first part of the week, so I can't charge things to my room and then use the points later if there is a waiting period.

Sorry, I do't have an anser for you....... I just wanted to thank you for asking. I just checked my rewards card and it is expired, too. I would not have thought of that if you hadn't mentioned it.

I'll keep watching this thread to see the answers!

Yep - you can get it right at DTD. Info right from the DIS!

If you want to get your Rewards Card while at Disney World, you can pick one up at either the Downtown Disney Marketplace Guest Relations or the Downtown Disney West Side Guest Relations. You must show a valid Disney Visa and photo ID. Upon receipt of the card, you must call the Chase toll free number that appears on the back of the card to activate it and transfer the Disney Dream Rewards to the card.
