Disney Reward Points

can you use your disney reward points at a resturant? What do you do just hand them the card and they use it as money? Are there anythings in particular you cant use the reward points for?

If you are staying on property, you can put your food bill on your room bill if you checked in with a credit card guarantee, then pay your bill at the resort with the Disney Rewards Card. I have done this. On the trip that I just took, I paid for my Dining Plan with the rewards card upon check-in. You can use your rewards card at the coke carts and the counter service restaurants. I do think, now that I am typing this that we did pay at Hollywood and Vine with the Rewards Card a few years ago.
You can go to the rewards card benefits section at Chase and it will tell you everything. It really covers a lot, we used it in the gift shop at AKL. It will cover tickets too.

You can use it at the Disney Restaurants. It is possible some of the DTD restaurants may not take it. You can also use it shopping at the parks. What you can also do is if you want to just charge everything to your room key you can use your rewards card to pay that too. You just give it to the CM at Guest Services at your resort and they can apply the points (or dollars) to your room key.

Pretty much if is Disney you can use it, with the excpetion of moveable food carts that don't accept credit cards. Non-disney stores and restaurants are about the only places you can't use it.
