Disney Reward Dollars Spending Question

I am getting ready to load my Disney Reward Card. I know I can use it at the parks, ect... but can I use it to pay down my room charges? I guess I'm wondering if I charge an ice cream at Beaches and Cream on my room card, can I inturn use my Disney Reward Card to pay off that purchases at the end of our visit?

You can use it buy the ice cream or anything else for that matter. But you can't use it at the end to pay off room debt. They ask for a credit card when you check-in for such charges. So use it all around the world. EXCEPT for on the Boardwalk... You can't use it for things like renting the bikes and playing games. The boarwalk businesses are not Dinsey operated. So kept it with you and use it for all the little things you will buy along the way.

yes, in wdw disney rewards spend like cash with VERY FEW exceptions (the occasional snack cart that is not wired for electronic transactions)... therefore you can charge on your room key and pay it w/your rewards

i think you are mistaken... while disney makes you "secure" your charging ability w/a credit card, they do not insist that you pay that bill with the credit card... as long as you don't opt for express checkout, you can pay that bill any way you like, disney dollars, US Currency or rewards card...

Your right, I was thinking of express check-out. We always opt for express that is why we could not use it. Sorry.

Thanks everyone. There is only one Disney Reward Card and my kids are old enough now to use their charge card, so I was hoping they could just charge and then I use my rewards to pay off the room charges.

That would help a great deal!
