Disney Reward Card Question

I seem to recall somewhere on the board mention of Disney Reward Dollars expiring as of 1/1/07. Is this the case? We have a card left with some money still on it as we redeemed our points already. If I need to spend those today, I better go to the Mall!

It depends on the card you have and if you have transferred to the card or not. Each year they seem to make the cards only last through Dec of that year, but we usually call in early November and get a new card good through the following December. I am careful as to how points I transfer towards the end of the year. If NOT transferred then they are good for 5 or 6 years, or something like that.

Most of the "rewards" cards are good for up to 2 years. If you call and get a card in say March 07, it should be good through Dec 09. Any unused points on a card issued in 04 expires today. It is deffiently a good idea to transfer less then you think you might need and call to have more transferred if needed while you are on your trip than to put too much and end up not using it all.

I'm a bit put off with Chase. We have called 2 times within a month requesting our card. We were told it should have arrived on the 18th the first time as we requested it at the start of Dec it never came yet to this day. We then called back last week spoke to someone and let them know it never came and we would like them to send another they said they would rush it to us and it would be here in 5 days, yet again never came after New Years we will call again cause it's ridiculous to have to call 3 times for it and still never recieved what we have earned.
