Disney Reward Card at restaurants

Many of the restaurants in DW are not owned by Disney and they will not accept your rewards card. The rears where you are vulnerable are located in DTD and on the boardwalk. No problem in any of the theme parks or the disney owned hotels. ::MickeyMo

thanks for clarifying the disney visa card vs reward card!
i understand it!

how long are the points good?

i'm hesitant to bring up the "outlet" thing again, but ......
are the points good for spending at the character outlets in orlando at the belz outlet mall? or does anyone know about the disneystore outlet like the one in san marcos texas?

I just ordered my Rewards Card last week and it came in the mail today! :Pinkbounc We have one more billing cycle before we leave on our trip so I'll transfer whatever additional points we earn to the card before we leave.

We'll have almost 500 Reward Dollars! I like the suggestion of applying the Reward Dollars to your resort room and just charging things back to the room.

My card took about a week to arrive. I would only use the rewards toward my account if I was sure that I would be using that much, as they can not re-credit your rewards card once it has been used. (found this out at Disney Quest). Of course, since I only have about $125 rewrds dollars, I would have no problem with charging that amount. My rewards points are good through 2009, so I am not too worried about expiration dates.

How in the world do you find out how many reward dollars you have on your card. I have applied and received a card. I have charged my trip and several other things and was wondering how many reward dollars I have. Thanks for your help.

My rewards total is on the front page of the statement under Visa account summary--Disney Dream Reward dollars. I have also found it on line with my account information.

I have almost $600 reward dollars so far; we charge everything and pay the Visa bill in full every month. By the time our trip comes around, I bet we'll have about $900 on the card. I plan to use it for meals, to take the sting out of things like dinner at Cape May and Ohana and the Fantasmic Dinner Package (if we get Brown Derby, it will cost over $150 for our family of 5!) [Come to think of it, those three meals alone will wipe out most of the card! ]

I just bought my car using the DV. Will mean $125 more to spend in November......
