Disney Reward card at DS?

I heard that Disney GCs and MBs can be used at ALL locations in DS and not just at the Disney stores. I've been going to WDW for decades and did not know that! lol
If that's true, I should be able to use my Disney Rewards card (loaded with our earned Disney dollars) at DS non-Disney locations also, right?

We were able to use our Disney Rewards card at Raglan Road and most other DS locations.
So when we went to Disneyland DTD, we were very surprised that no store took Disney Rewards points!

When we where there in Sept. Lefty's would not take MB or gift cards. Maybe it's because it's more of a kiosk instead of a store, but they took credit cards.

Thanks for your replies. We'll try using our DRC in March in DS and report back.

The rewards card is accepted in a lot of places, but not everywhere. We use GCs and when those are done we charge to the room and pay off the room charges with the rewards cad. All the hotels take them so it is easier for us that worrying about who takes it in the parks.
