OK, so I can't go to WDW this year - I'm coming to terms (sort of).;)

Next trip will probably be in 2006. That seems far away.:(

So I figure, since I'm waiting this long, I should stay in the one hotel I am totally obsessed with staying at - AKL. Never have, but man, when I walked into that lobby during a resort hop, I stood there with my mouth hanging open.:teeth:

What resort do you have on your "MuststayatbeforeIdie" list?:p

Lets see DH really wants to stay at the Poly. I think I'd like to stay at the Boardwalk.

Poly

From my very first trip I remember riding the boat and looking at the Poly and wanting to stay there.

We always stay offsite in a relative's timeshare so I'll say ANY Disney Resort would be on my list!!:)
(but AKL does top the list)

Well, since by this time next year I will have pretty much fulfilled that dream, the only one left I would like to stay at would be AKL. I'll be staying at BWV for the first time in 34 days (but who's counting??), and then at VWL for Thanksgiving. So, maybe I'll get to stay at AKL in 2005. Never, ever, in my wildest imagination would I have thought I would be able to say that I have stayed at so many resorts. What a lucky girl I am.

I've never stayed onsite, so I think I'd be happy with any of them. :)

The Grand Floridian or WL concierge level. ::yes::

I stayed at the Poly many years ago with Mom and Dad, but since then have only been able to swing the All-Stars. Which, by the way, are pretty awesome, and if you look hard enough, you can get them as cheap (or cheaper) than the offsite hotels. Check the Budget Board before your next trip. You can learn alot of money saving tricks over there. Those people are SLICK.:smooth:

Contemporary, 14th floor.

I've only done ASMO, POR, CBR, and AKL which is awesome. but I've always wanted to do the WL. I'm the jean tee shirt type of gal, and the other deluxes are way too fancy for me.

I always wanted a MK view at the Contemporary....and we got that a few years ago!

I stayed at the Poly as a teenager once. After walking through the Grand Floridian with our 5 kids, I was scared to death that they'd "break" something...so though I'd love to stay there, I would love it to be just DH and I.

We recently visited the Boardwalk for the first time and I absolutely fell in love with it...so I guess I'd choose to stay there next if I could. As a matter of fact, that's the picture I have on my screen right now...DH and the kids walking along the boardwalk.

The only luxury hotel I want to stay in on-site is the AKL. Other than that, I'll take the CBR or the All-Stars. I just want a room to sleep in and a pool to swim in! :teeth: I just love the CBR. If we can stay there every trip, I'll be happy. :)

Thanks for the tip, grinning. But I've never stayed off-site much either, having been to Disney just a couple times (most recently 1990). Until a few years ago, I didn't really realize Disney had on-site accomodations. Well, strike that...I guess I remember traveling through the Contemporary Resort while riding the monorail. :p

Any of the Deluxe Resorts (especially the Poly). Have never stayed at a Deluxe.

I always wanted to stay in the Contemporary with MK view. But I think I would REALLY like to stay in the AKL. Haven't even been there to visit but would love to go :)

GO! We went there our first night last trip. It was pouring out, so it was a good way to get all Disneyed up without sloshing through the parks.

I walked in that lobby, and I swear, I stood there in awe. It just knocked my socks off. I KNEW that I would stay there someday, even if I had to roll pennies for the next 80 years.;)

I have never stayed at a monorail resort, and I think I would like the poly best

For me, it would be the Beach Club (or BCV). I've stayed in all the others tha I've ever been interested in :)
