Disney Resort Price History?

Has anyone ever found a price history of the Disney World Resort rooms themselves? I can find all kinds of articles about the park ticket price history but nothing on resorts. I'm curious how much faster than inflation the Disney hotel/resort prices have been increasing. My guess is much faster than inflation. This would be a selling point of DVC since MF's tend to increase in the 4%-6% range and my guess is the disney rack rates are increasing much faster than that.

Anyways, thought it might be interesting but can't find any data anywhere.

oh you would ask now - throw all that stuff away a couple of days ago - had it from 1993 (when I joined) until 2003 (when I realized it would always be a good deal) - so quit saving it each year.

I have not seen anything that covers all of the resorts especially going back to when WDW opened. I thought the Port Orleans site was really interesting.

Our first visit was 1979, but on site was 1980. My memory is the Polynesian and Contemporary rooms were :
Garden view - $55
Lake view - $65
Tower/park - $75

We honeymooned at the Contemporary Resort in September 1975. We had a tower room with a MK view. The rate for that room was $65.00 per night. We still have the receipt in our scrap book. I just checked, for the same dates the current cost is $597.00 per night

65 dollars in 1975 is worth 296.22 in today's dollar.
