This must be one of the AS resorts, but which one? Have never stayed there so not familiar with the different themes.

Thanks!:flower3:

All Star Movies; we stayed there in early July and it exceeded our expectations in every way. Highly recommended.

Thank you! What did you like about it? How are the rooms (clean, good condition), food court, gift shop, check-in?

Sorry for all the questions!! TIA!:flower3:

Everything, really. I was more than a little concerned that Mrs. YEKCIM would find the accommodations unsuitable, and be unhappy all week. To the contrary, the room space was adequate, the rooms clean, beds comfortable (of course, after a grueling day in the parks, you could sleep on bare concrete...) and the grounds immaculate, just like any Disney resort. We stayed in the Fantasia building, which are "preferred" rooms, and closer to the pool/food court. The pool was great, the food court very adequate. The quality and value of the food was, in fact, the most pleasant surprise. We surmise that since the All Stars don't have an on-site "nice" restaurant, they compensate by having a little better food court. The selections were varied, and included a "to your order" grill. Pricing was reasonable, for what you get, and the quality was very good. I had a chicken quesadilla from the grill that was very good, and plenty of it, for about what all CS food runs. Check in was very good, and the CM who checked us in was very personable and pleasant. We arrived in mid afternoon and went straight to the desk; no waiting, although later in the day, there was a line at check in.

Holler if any more questions.

Sounds like we may have to give it a try one of these trips!

Any more photos to share?? :)

Thanks so much!

50's Building. The one we stayed in on our last trip. Wonder which one we'll get in November?...

I always enjoy this thread. Almost like a mini-vacation. ;) Love the Polynesian room picture. Makes me want to be there right now!

HAVE FUN!!!!!!

Pop Century Resort because we love it. It's on property, so we can use Disney transportation. It has dedicated buses, so we don't make stops at any other resorts (not sure if ASMo and ASMu still do that). It feels very Disney, and the decorations are very fun to look at. We barely spend any time in our resort when we are at WDW, so it is more than enough resort for us. It has everything that we need and more. Spending less money on our "sleeping place" allows us more money to spend on food and souveniers! I could go on and on...
