Wilderness Lodge Flag Family

BTW, the last few photos I've seen from this year's flag family don't include Ranger Stan. Anyone know if he's since retired? Last year he spoke of how ill he had been. Thanks!

thank you! Looks inviting. Since we are told its a convention type resort, we're hoping that we could try Christmas time there. Should not be any conventions going on at Christmas-time.

I think there were a couple of buses over to the right, which I cropped out of the picture. I was actually waiting on the Eppacot bus, IIRC, and was hoping to get a "window" to take a shot of the front with the resort name, *without* buses blocking the name. The photo is the result of that window.

We had turkeys come up to our patio too. I think we saw more turkeys last trip than we did rabbits. They were everywhere.

Its really a good shot. I just remember standing there so many time waiting for the buses back in 2004. Funny how something so mundane becomes such a nice memory afterwards.

That would be the trip where Hurricane Charley decided to drop by. That was our resort. The staff could not have been nicer, more proficient or concerned for all the guests before, during and after the hurricane.

If I ever have to be in a hurricane again, I want it to be at Disney!
