I'll add a picture and answer your question.
I'm a Systems Admin for a fairly large company. What is happening at your work is they have filters on their servers or on their routers that will not permit any web traffic from certian sites. Since most of the pictures posted here do not originate from the same web site. The ones that are not being blocked by your work web filter will be seen.
I.E. If your workplace filters out anything coming from photbucket.com then any pictures posted on the DIS boards that come from photobucket will not show. However if your workplace webfilter allows snapfish.com then those picture will show.

Where was this room located in the resort (i.e. how near/far from elevator...)? What was your request if any when you made your ressies? We're staying there for the first time in June and are reserved with "preferred-view".
