I would like to bring my childrens grandparents down sometime, making our group size of 6. Are there any rooms that can hold up to 6 people. My children will be ages 6 and 4, if that helps. Is there a special suite or different accomdation that could help, or are we simply stuck renting 2 rooms?

Thanks for the help.

Hi goofy papa!

We are a family of 6 and our options are:

1. Fort Wilderness Cabins sleep 6 but have one bathroom
2. 2 Bedroom Villas
3. CSR and WL have a junior suite (but these are not less expensive than just renting 2 rooms).
4. Usually the most cost effective option (especially with 4 adults so 2 bathrooms is nice plus an extra room for privacy) is to rent 2 rooms at the All Stars.
5. Lot's of people suggest renting DVC points at 2 Bedroom Villas also.

That being said we usually rent 2 rooms at a moderate for us and our 4 kiddos and have had a wonderful time. We got lucky and got an $81/nt rate on hotwire for the Swan and are renting 2 rooms there in June. Hope this helps!

We have also been a family of six (two in college now). We have used FW cabins and also two connecting rooms. I vote for two rooms! It is so nice to have the extra space and two bathrooms. Even with five of us at Poly in November in one room, which has some of largest on sight, we really missed that second bathroom.

You might want to check out renting points from a DVC member.

A 2 bdr villa will get you - Master bdr w/king bed and jacuzzi tub, 2nd bdr w/ 2 queen beds, 2 full bathrooms, a living area w/pull out sleeper sofa, full kitchen and washer/dryer in the unit.

Over on the rent/trade board, the going rate is about $10/pt and the total would depend on when you went and how many weekend nights were involved. You will also get more space than even 2 hotel rooms.

Good Luck and have a great trip with wherever you decide to stay!:D

We have traveled to WDW with my husband's parents and we usually rent points for a 2 bedroom villa. That gives dh and I the master bedroom and our own bathroom... and then dh's parents and our 2 kids take the second bedroom with 2 queens and the sleeper sofa in the living room.

There really is nothing better than a 2 bedroom villa at WDW. ;) We love OKW, but the other DVC resorts are also nice. We'll be trying out BCV's this trip and hear it's wonderful.

Good Luck! :)

Thanks for all the great suggestions. I think I will check into renting a villa. I just love the feel of staying on property and the villas should help us all stay together.

I can't wait to get back!
