Disney Resort Deals

Well after being back for six months I have finally been able to get over my holiday blues enough to come back on here

We are looking to back to Orlando next year hopefully for 3 weeks, and would like to stay on the Disney resort.

Does any-one know if there are any super duper deals where you can get the 40% discount (or however much they give) AND the free dining at the same time????

I know that the deals aren't guarenteed to happen, but in the past if they do this kind of deal, is there a certain time of year to watch out for this, and if not when typically do they offer each of these deals seperatley?

I realize that UK visitors often have deals not offered to those in the US.

But Disney doesn't "stack" discounts. In other words, you typically have to choose between free dining and whatever other deal may be available at the time.

Take a look at www.mousesavers.com They offer a list of when discounts have been offered in the past and what those discounts included.

Last year, Disney offered an amazing discount at OKW (someone said 42%?) plus free dining, plus 14 days for 7 tickets, plus $150 Disney dollars.

According to Complete Orlando, the discount and the free dining will be on again this year at OKW, it's being released tomorrow.

I can't remember the dates Complete Orlando gave for the discount + free dining offer, but I can remember thinking that ours would be covered (23rd August - 9th September). Have a search through the threads and all the info should be floating about!

Or... wait until tomorrow and then given them/Virgin/Thomson a call!

"HOT OFF THE PRESS! Many of you have asked about the dates for the upcoming 2013 FREE Dine offer; we'd like to let our loyal followers know first, the dates will be 01 Jan-19 Mar & 07 Apr-08 Dec '13."

I can't find anything about the OKW discount, but when we spoke to them on the phone, they definitely told us it would be discounted.

The 42% discount was for both OKW and SSR and as a deluxe resort they offer the DDP so worked out cheaper than staying in a moderate resort. You have to book tickets too for the discount and dining plan to be applicable.
The gift card is usually offered on flight inclusive travel but Disney offered it on ticket and accommodation packages at the back end of last year. There were quite a few disgruntled people though as Disney offered this late on after many had booked their deals as soon as the dates were released. It's always a gamble though because if you wait they could remove the entire deal.
This deal makes staying off site more expensive which its why a lot of people are currently choosing to stay in Disney.
Last year Disney took a while to offer the deal so it will be interesting go see now quick they are this year.

Thankfully they do stack them for UK travellers. As said above for this year we could stack 3 discounts, 42% off, free DDP & 14 day tix for price of 7, ontop of that Disney direct also gave a $150 gift card.

We find out tomorrow(10th) what next years deals will be, hope they are similar to this years but I will be waiing til later in the year (Oct\Nov) to see if they increase the discounts\benefits. They know people are waiting for the deals so I don't expect their best offers until later n the year.
