Disney Resort Airline Check-in

Hi all, Ive just notice that disney run a Resort Airline Check-In –that offers remote check-in for select Guests, allowing them to check their luggage and receive their airline boarding passes at their Disney Resort. Its states that "remote check-in service is only available for Guests flying domestically on the following airlines: American, Delta, Continental, and United, As My 1st flight is a domestic flight ie Continental Via Newark, does anybody know if i would be able to use this service.

I know nothing but ... I'd expect that you'd only be able to check in for the domestic leg, as the description says. This will leave you with the second leg to check in for - your baggage would be tagged to Newark. You could check in for the onward flight at Orlando or Newark, however you'd still need to pick up and recheck your bags at Newark. If you haven't checked in before you leave Orlando then there may be problems if you encounter delays.

I suspect that because you have a ticket with onward international connection that they won't touch you. Why not have a plan B but ask once you get to the resort.

I don't know either but I am booked on a Continental flight so would love to know the answer.

I fear the answer is no - partly because American guests have to pay for their luggage on Continental flights prior to the check-in. If we can only use the check-in for the domestic leg, we may end up paying luggage fees.

Of course, that might all be a lot of nonsense.

We used this when we flied TED (Cheap version of United) and checked in at OKW. I can't remember now if we checked all the way through but I think we collected in ORD and then checked in for the last leg with BMI.
