My sis-in-law is looking to sign up for the Disney Visa. Can I refer her with my referral code and get her the $200 sign up and me the $50 sign up? Anyone know details on that?

No, you would have been notified. And you get 6 referrals. We got them on one of our cards but not the other. Go figure!!!

You get credit for six referrals (50 disney reward dollars for each person approved and once they make their first charge) but more than six people can sign up and get the $200 gift card.

It is not money but 50 points added to your rewards. You can then add your points to your redemption card and use it as money for your Disney related purchases. I got mine within 6 weeks of sharing the referral code.

I would like to apply for the Disney Visa but when went to the website it just says $100. for signing up. Anybody know how I can apply and get the $200. bonus. My daughter already has the card and will check with her to see if she received a referral code as well. Thanks for any info you can give.

For the $200 referral card, there is an 800 number that you call, you can't do this one online and you have to have the cardholders number and a couple other pieces of information.

We were told that Chase had to "invite" you to do this. We have 2 separate Chase visa accounts...and they said that the one we did not get the invitation for was not eligible for referral bonuses. That is what we were told. Because they also assign a special number that the person you are referring must give to Chase as well as those other pieces of information to get the $200 GC.

Yes, it is by invitation only for the higher $200 bonus, we also also have separate Chase visa accounts, but only received offers from one account.

I referred several people in the last month on my card, and the best I can tell is that one of them used the new card within 2 weeks of getting the referral from me.

I referred a couple of people this week on DH's card, and one reported she used that info and was approved, so I'll know more certainly how long it takes when I see that reward on DH's account.

I received the $50 as Disney Dream Reward Dollars in my Rewards section of the credit card site (the referral bonus does not come as its own gift card.) The bonus showed up this month at the same time as my regular spending Rewards, but as a separate line item.

You don't have to wait until they spend the $500; you will get your referral bonus after they use the card for the first time. ETA: So that is strange that your friend already has his $200 bonus but you didn't get your bonus yet. Is it possible it hasn't cycled through? For instance, my Rewards go in on the 2nd of each month. So if someone used their new card [that I referred] on June 3, I won't see that bonus until July 2. If he spent his $500 quickly, he could conceivably get his bonus gift card (that gets sent as its own gift card, I believe; he wouldn't need to claim it through Rewards), while you may have to wait til your next Rewards date to see your $50.

You can call the number on the back of your Visa card with questions; the people on the referral line (the number on the referral postcards they sent you) cannot access your account or referral info. The cs rep from the Visa line will know whether your Member ID is linked for referrals (they cannot tell you who/when referrals go through though.)

The rep did mention that you can find your Member ID by looking near your name on your cc statements. They see it when you call in though, so you don't really need to know it except to give it out to people.
