Disney Recipe Swap Part 2 - CLOSED!

I did that with my Moose recipes. I tried to print two to a page, but my printer has a very large margin on the bottom of the page and I forgot. It looked okay in the preview. Ended up just using more paper because I didn't want to shrink the font or narrow the area any.

Can't you reset the setttings under print setup in your file menu? That's what I do. Although, sometimes a recipe is just too big to do even that.

I will be doing mine the week after Memorial Day weekend, but will still get them in on time.

It's the printer itself. I can reset margins all day in Word, but it will still cut off some on the bottom. Not a problem at all with my Apple LaserWriter, just my Epson ColorJet.

I usually remember and don't put anything in the last inch of paper, but with recipes being landscaped, I forgot. Not that big of deal. Just had to wait a little longer for more to print out.

I got all my paper today at Hobby Lobby's big paper sale! My recipes are all set-up in MS Word and ready to print. I will do the rest next week and mail before I leave at the end of the week. It should only take me a day to complete the rest.

Can I just how much I love these swaps?
I'm not a super big cook. But I just love the recipes that everyone has been making. Being able to get creative with it is a lot of fun. I used my imagination a little more on this set. I can't wait for the next one.

PS-I don't think my sister is getting that housewarming present after all.

I had a suggestion for another recipe swap - how about a "heritage" one, where you do something you always serve because its a family favourite, or it relates to your race/country of origin, or because its traditional where you live now. I can't remember where I put it - somewhere stupid like the swap calendar. We could have groups for Christmas, BBQ, birthday, stuff like that- what do you think?

I love that idea! I'm in I think these recipe swaps are so much fun! My biggest problem is getting the font right so I can fit the recipe on the card...

I have several family favorites that I remember from my childhood...

I ordered a set of sizzlets off ebay for this swap...not here yet

So, I'm playing the waiting game...

Has anyone else noticed that all the big chain stores are dumping the sizzix stuff? I couldn't find anything that I wanted...yesterday got 2 nice dies 50% off at Joanns (not what I was looking for, but still...sale )...everything in all the stores is clearanced. Provocraft Cuttlebug is being pushed. I'm going to try to pick on up today at Mike's if I can...

I was all ready to start working this morning, BUT then DS came in to show me a surprise that came in the mail yesterday...DVC DVD about the new Animal Kingdom Villas

So, I never got my things out because of course we had to watch everything, and discuss...OMG, he and I are so THERE!!!

So, I'm doing a Scarlet "Tomorrow is another day"

I hope to be mailing on Tuesday, might be Wednesday though...
