Disney Recipe Swap Part 2 - CLOSED!

I
Gourmet Double Chocolate Chunk Cookies
Main Street Bake Shop, Magic Kingdom

I'll have to try those next Christmas season....People are always asking me to bring double chocolate chip, but I'm not crazy about the other recipe I have.

When I'm at the Bakery, I always seem to get the regular Toll House Choc chip. Oh Great!! Now I want to go there and I'm 1300 miles away!

2 more groups opened?

must resist...

M U S T R E S I S T.....

Ok I can't resist, I'd like to sign up for one more group (I don't care which)
My recipe will be :
Cinnamon Yummies from the BoardWalk Bakery.
Thanks!

I nearly did the double choc cookies - they sound fantastic (and actually doable ;) )

Must.....resist....another....

I go away for the weekend and you open up this. Can I get the spots in the last 2 go\roups. I have to teach youthgroup now so I will look for recipes later. I will have to look through all those being done first.

If rlovew wants another spot, she can have my group 1 spot. I don't want to be greedy.:)

my daughter, pretty in tink, would like to do Corn Chowder from the Sunrise Terrace Restaurant at CommuniCore West in Epcot (not sure this exists any more) and Pink Leilani drink from the Coral Isle Cafe at the Polynesian.

I'm going to do Cheese, Leek and Onion Bisque from the Grand Floridian Cafe at the Grand Floridian Resort and Macadamia Nut Pie from the Papeete Bay Verandah in the South Seas Dining Room at the Polynesian Resort.

We have actually prepared all of these recipes before and they are good. Corn Chowder is at top of favorites for soup for 2 out of 3 kids, the Bisque is a comfort food for me and my husband now, and the Pie has been served at 2 Tacky Tropical Parties we have had. We don't have leftovers. The Pie is similar to pecan pie, but not as icky sweet. Hope these recipes will be suitable.

What Disney Restaurant are your recipes from? The soup recipes sound yummy and I'll want to make a note of them for my dreaming about trip.

All of our recipes come from Disney Cookbooks-Cooking with Mickey around our world and Cooking with Mickey Gourmet Cookbook volume 2. I'm hoping they don't actually have to be served at a current Disney restaurant, because I think at least 1 of the restaurants is closed now. So they may be served at another or maybe not.

Will we be getting a membership to Weight Watchers when we get it back. I think I'm gaining weight just reading the posts.

Some of my favorite recipes are from restaurants that have closed or the recipes have been retired. They're still Disney park and resort recipes and just as good. I love those older Disney cookbooks and still use them. I sure welcome the older recipes!

I remember one of my favorite deserts was form the old Disney Village Inn at WDW....Fried Ice Cream. I used to go over there just for desert. It's easier to order out then make so I haven't used it for these swaps. But, I haven't found a restaurant that does a good job of making it since Disney Inn closed.

Heading to the basement to use the exercise bike! I think this thread is fattening just to read. Gotta fit into a costume this coming weekend!

Thanks for the offer but I have enough to do on my swap plate. I am glad I made it into 2 spots though.

Do you think those books are still in print? I'm too tired to search Amazon tonight, but in the morning I think I will doing that.

I love soup. Hate making it, but love to have it out. Thanks for letting me know which restaurants. :thumbsup2 will be marking them down.

The first volume has been out of print for a long time, and I have not seen the second volume around for awhile. Amazon or Ebay would be the way to go probably for used editions of those.
