If you saw the winner on America's Funniest Videos tonight, I think you will agree that Disney has reached a new low in bad taste. How would you like to explain to your child exactly HOW the men in the video were playing the piano?

I didn't see it,actually didn't know that show was still on.Doesn't the audience vote for the winner?

off topic buy cool new signature there Dan

The winner was "look mom, no hands".

Two young men had entered a talent show. Their act consisted of standing behind a piano with there hands raised in the air, while their pants & underwear were around their ankles, while you imagined they "played" the piano with their private parts. (Obviously, someone off stage was playing the song on another piano.)

They picked up their pants & took a bow for the audience.

I thought the act was clever for a talent show. They got a huge applause. Maybe not suitable for AFV though. I don't have children -- so this didn't bother me.

Well ,while that may be in bad taste,it is the parents responsibility to decide what programs their child should be viewing.Especially in prime time.

Funny how everyone always hold Disney responsible for what they see on ABC. You never hear anyone say "I'm never buying a General Electric washer again, especially after what was on NBC last night!" If you get a bad meal at KFC, does that also stop you from eating at Pizza Hut? They're both Pepsi companies.

It was obviously a school talent show, and it was pretty funny! Of all the things that are offensive on tv, I think that's pretty low on the list.

If you didn't want your kids to see it, you had plenty of time to change the channel.

Disney is more directly connected with America's Funniest Videos and ABC than some of the other examples cited. Most of what is on AFV is suited for children, but I really thought that, whether for the children or not, this was poor taste. There were many more funnier clips that AFV could have picked as finalist - that were in better taste. AFV picks the finalist and the audience picks the winners from those three. And, yes, I agree that audiences in general, and maybe the people of today in particular, have very poor taste in humor.
Just to show you how the producers of AFV cater to the public, here is an example. When AFV first came on many of the "winners" of the clips showed people falling down and crashing into things. Evidently there were some complaints from the pubic and AFV started telling the viewers NOT to send in such clips because "it encouraged dangerous behavior." That statement revealed several things about AFV and the people involved. One, is that many people were "staging" the clips. And, two, is that many people do enjoy seeing other people get hurt. Anyway, that advisory only lasted for one season. You will notice that AFV does not make that advisory any longer and that many, many of the clips do involve people getting hurt.

My son loves this show! I hate to agree but I usually LMBO at people falling down etc. I know bad taste and not very nice but its so darned funny.

On the note of the piano (I didn't see it) but I know that when I graduated back in 1990 in my class of 42 at a Christian School 4 of the boys decided in the talent show that they were going to moon the audiance. It was totally hillarious!!!! I think they got suspended for 3 days but 12 years later I still think back on it and laugh. I also don't think it has to do with todays time, this is something that has been going on for a long time......Kids will be Kids and if J.C. decides to do something along that sort in his senior talent show he won't get in trouble from me....those are the best times of our life!!!!!
