I'd be tempted to try it for a few minutes on a VERY LOW setting - and don't walk away! Maybe 5 minutes at a time? or maybe heat the dryer first then add them at a low setting (again for short time - checking and restarting the dryer)
Just some ideas. I don't know how thick or thin they are, so I don't want to say that's it in case they are too thin and melt - but that's my GUESS.
I doubt being in a room while the shower was on would get them warm enough - unless you actually put them on a hanger and sprayed them down with quite hot water and then left them hanging to dry.
