Disney Race Track

I recieved a pass to the Richard Petty "experience of a lifetime" and I am trying to pick a track. I am looking for opinions or advice about the experience and the Disney track, or which is the best track for the experience.

There is also a track in Concord NC. Lowes Motor Speedway. That is a great track.

I have a friend who just did the experience at Talladega Speedway in AL. She turned a fast lap of 162.2 mph. She said the track banking and layout gave her confidence she could go that fast without any problems. I don't think you can go that fast at some of the tracks so you may want to call the 1-800-BE-PETTY hotline and ask. Wherever you go she reports it is the racing experience of a lifetime for those not in the sport. We hope to read about your experience when done!

I've no idea where you should do the "experience," but I was amused at a little mini controversy over speeds that has sprung up in the past couple weeks here. It seems until a week or so ago the Petty folks were putting top speeds (i. e., the few seconds down the straightaway) instead of lap speed on the certificates they were giving out to their customers. This made for some pretty amazing amateur results.
