A coworker is on hospice care. She loves Disney. At work we always post quotes and I am hoping you all can help me find some that are appropriate at this time.

Some of the lines from For Good from Wicked are very appropriate.

thanks

Thanks for your post even if you don't have a quote. Her husband is also a coworker/friend. They are Disney fans to the core.

bumping Two of us are doing some searches but we aren't really up to it. I just keep listening to the following song again and again.

If you feel like listening this song from Wicked is beautiful.

One of my absolute favorite quotes ever (which is also in my signature) and I think is appropriate is: Laughter is timeless. Imagination has no age. And dreams are forever. From what I've found, it's been credited to "Walt Disney Company", so I don't know if it's a Walt quote or not but I love it all the same.

And hospices can be wonderful things- my grandmother spent her last days in a wonderful hospice, with absolutely amazing caregivers. Of course no one wants to end up in hospice but I think with the right caregivers, it can really help one come to peace with what their future will bring. Good and peaceful thoughts to your co-worker and family (and you). :grouphug:

Here are some I just found-
-The past can hurt. You can either run from it or learn from it. - The Lion King
-If you live to be a hundred, I want to live to be a hundred minus one day, so I never have to live without you. - Winnie the Pooh
-Remember: Always let your conscience be your guide. - Pinocchio
-Hmm! Teenagers. They think they know everything. You give them an inch and they swim all over you! - Sebastian (Little Mermaid)
-You think the only people who are people, are the people who look and think like you. But if you walk the footsteps of a stranger, you'll learn things you never knew you never knew." - Pocahontas

They're not the most well known or anything, but there you go :)

Oh, here are some Walt Disney ones I like:
I only hope that we don't lose sight of one thing - that it was all started by a mouse.
-It's kind of fun to do the impossible.
-If you can dream it, you can do it.
-Laughter is America's most important export.
-Of all of our inventions for mass communication, pictures still speak the most universally understood language.

Last time we were at WDW, my husband bought a little book of Disney
quotes. The whole book was just quotes. I can't find it now, but I think
it was called WALT DISNEY QUOTES and was only $10. He got it at a store
in Hollywood Studios.

Here are some I've found..

Walt Disney said:
-- All our dreams can come true, if we have the courage to pursue them.

-- I love Mickey Mouse more than any woman I have ever known.

-- I would rather entertain and hope that people learned something than educate people and hope they were entertained.

-- If you can dream it, you can do it.

-- It's kind of fun to do the impossible.

-- Laughter is America's most important export.

-- Or heritage and ideals, our code and standards - the things we live by and teach our children - are preserved or diminished by how freely we exchange ideas and feelings.

-- The more you like yourself, the less you are like anyone else, which makes you unique.

-- The way to get started is to quit talking and begin doing.

-- There is more treasure in books than in all the pirate's loot on Treasure Island.

-- We are not trying to entertain the critics. I'll take my chances with the public.

-- We keep moving forward, opening new doors, and doing new things, because we're curious and curiosity keeps leading us down new paths.

-- When you believe in a thing, believe in it all the way, implicitly and unquestionable.

-- You can design and create, and build the most wonderful place in the world. But it takes people to make the dream a reality.

-- You may not realize it when it happens, but a kick in the teeth may be the best thing in the world for you.

-- You're dead if you aim only for kids. Adults are only kids grown up, anyway.

-- When you're curious, you find lots of interesting things to do. And one thing it takes to accomplish something is courage.

-- Why worry? If you've done the very best you can, worrying won't make it any better. I worry about many things, but not about water over the dam.

Thanks again! I know they are out there but it is just having the energy to search for them. I appreciate everyone's help.
