I have a price of $4100 for a family of seven for 6 nights and 7 days at POP Century? I will need two rooms and we are going to use the DDP. I need to know if this is a good price or is there anything I can do to bring down the price? I still have to book air but since we are going in June I should have time. I want to enjoy our trip but would not be unhappy if someone let me know on how to save a few bucks? Thanks Dave:coffee:

I'm new to this, so take it for what it's worth.

For starters, are you AAA? For the $50 or so annual membership you can save 10-15% on your room at WDW, in addition to all the other discounts. Most definitely worth it. (I'm paying $3900 for the 5 of us for 6 nights... at the Contemporary.)

Secondly, have you considered a Family Suite at All Star Music? Take a look at it. You won't save money, but the layout may be preferable to you.

On the resort forum, take a look at the "Codes" section and look for the month in which you'll travel. There may be a code which you could apply and it might turn out to be a better deal than AAA.

For airfares, I'm signed up at both www.kayak.com and southwest's Ding program. I'm hoping to get under $150 from Long Island; we'll see when Southwest releases its summer fares.
