I am wondering if we should do Disney Quest with my 7 year old son. I read the info on the DIS site and it looks SO COOL. However it is quite expensive. Is it worth it? Will DS7 be one of the youngest kids there and will he get stomped in some of the group games. A lot of the attractions look cool, but if he is competing against teenagers, he won't have much fun (no chance of winnng). How much time should we allow? We would probably go on our "day off" from the parks, so we could get there near opening time.

You have to go - he will have an absolute blast. I have seen kids much younger than 7 there so I don't think you have anything to worry about

Howmuch time should I plan for a visit? DH and DS4 probably won't go to DQ, they'll hang out at the pool or do something else.

You will most likely be bored but he will love it! I took my son 7, nephew7, and niece 9 a few years ago and they didnt want to leave. There are so many cool video games, virtual reality games, make your own roller coaster, make you own toys type things to do. I would plan at least 4-5 hours there to really see it all and get your moneys worth. Just remember that the Make your own toy cost money if you want to buy the toy, of course my kids had too!!!! They have a really nice Cheesecake cafe' for a wonderful treat. And while your eating your treat he can send emails to friends from the cafe'. All in all its a good place for the kids. I found myself playing many game so pinpall as video games hold very little interest to me. But you will find plenty to keep you happy too!!!

have fun!!!

Not sure exactly how long you would want to spend there, but my DD's could stay all day if I let them.

There are tons of things your son will want to do, so I think it will depend on how long you want to stay.

I would say at least 2hrs.....

Hey Michigan Mom, from another Michigan Mom. I have a 6 year old son and a 5 year old daughter, we spent about 6 hours there last October. We had been trying to avoid DQ because I knew once we went my son would want to go back every trip. He loves the arcades at the resorts. Anyway, one day we were eating lunch at Beaches and Creme and told our waitor we were heading over to the arcade next door afterwards when he told us we really should go to DQ, it would be cheaper in the long run than putting quarters into the arcade games. Well, once he told my son about it, we couldn't keep him away. My whole family really enjoyed it. There are quite a few things that the whole family can do together such as Alladins flying carpets, Pirates of the Carribean, the Alien ride and the white water rafting ride. These are all a lot of fun. I think you would be fine if you planned 4 hours there. Unless you want to stop and eat lunch too.
