i have never been to disney quest, so we plan on going this year in august, i know that its open late 11:30 or midnight depending what day.

i was wondering does it get busy?

would going there after animal kingdom be a good idea as AK shuts at 4pm, when we there so would disney quest be a good idea to do afterwards.

whats at disney quest?

DQ has different attractions on different floors. There are Virtual Reality type attractions that require 3d glasses or video goggles. My favorite is the one where you and your party man the helm and guns of a pirate ship and do battle with other ships with a great surprise battle at the end. It requires team work to win the gold-lots of fun! There are Design stations where you can learn to draw, build a toy out of the parts found in Sid's room in Toy Story, produce and Record a record based on selectable music, lyrics, themes and your own voice that you can later buy. You can Design and ride you own roller Coaster. There are many ,many video arcade games. The place can get very crowded, especially on Saturdays, early evenings and even mid mornings when summer camps or orlando school groups arrive.
My best advice is to treat it as you would any other Disney park. Get there early and have fun till it starts to get crowded.

Hope this helps :)

Disney quest is fun if you are into games. If you are not I might skip it. My favorite thing there is the build your own roller coaster and then ride it. It is so much fun!

There's some great info on DisneyQuest here on the DIS. Just click here

We're going for the first time in October. Our plan is to go to Typhoon Lagoon for a few hours followed by DQ. I think my 2 boys will like it (they're 9 and 12), but our 2 year old will probably be bored. Maybe I'll take her shopping in DTD while the others are at DQ - the sacrifices we make for our kids! :teeth:

I have heard that if it is raining or calling for rain most of the day, people will gravitate towards DQ and it gets crowded. I can't speak for the summer, but during the school year, the only large crowds are school groups that arrive by the busload.

My family adores DQ! We normally go late afternoon its not very crowded then unless its been raining awhile. The virtual POTC and Jungle Cruise so much fun! We always get cheese fries or a sweet at the Wonderland Cafe in there and sit and email friends back home about our trip..
